Friday 2nd October 2015
About the event
The MMP Patient Day held at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London on 2nd October 2015 and was led by Pemfriends and supported by the NIHR Moorfields BRC.
Around 20 patients were able to attend and participate on the day and had the opportunity to speak to others with similar (and also different) experiences and hear their stories and views.
There were a number of informative presentations in the morning, which included news about recent developments in the treatment of the disease. Many dedicated specialists were interested in and committed to improving the lives of a lot of patients.
An overview and follow-up report of the day can be found here.
The talks given on the day can be found on the Pemfriends website.
